Our Company

- We are Circle Textile, a slow fashion brand that promotes caring for the environment, concerned with conscious fashion, fair trade, decent work and social responsability.
- The textile world has been industrialized and automated in such a way that it is polutting the planet, we try to show you that artisanal weaving techniques are still vibrant and that artisanal clothes will be the most authentic garments that you will have in your closet.
- We are an ecological option in wich each garment has its own DNA. We use ecological bags and hangtags to be in line with the enviroment.
- Our mission is to be a circular brand, making our stock the minimum possible and giving a second life to the leftover alpaca yarn from large productions made in Lima-Peru. We believe in the upcycling revolution and its diffusion among fashion consumers.
"Who made my clothes?"
Meet Our Team
Have you ever wondered who made the clothes you are wearing right now? If the clothes you are wearing were made under good working conditions? or If there was child labor involved? Well, don’t feel bad if you’ve never asked yourself these questions because the fast fashion industry has been in charge of covering up each of these details, but we invite you to be part of a slower fashion where you don’t feel rushed to change your wardrobe so soon, since fast fashion is commonly made of low-quality fabrics to lower production costs and so that the garment loses its value in less time and you feel the need to replace it with another garment, however, that is not the only reason why you found the garment at that price but also due to the low wages of textile manufacturers in third world countries.
Here we introduce you our team who work under a fair wage, safe working conditions and flexible schedules.

Raul is the heart of Circle Tex, he has been weaving for more than 20 years, he weaves each of our samples and also each production piece which he prepares to be assembled. Also washing, steaming and ironing are some of his functions.

Carmen has been a seamstress for more than 30 years and she is responsible for assembling each piece woven by Raúl until obtaining the finished garment to finally sew the labels of the brand, such as the neck and care label.

Ignacio has been making fluffy animals made of 100% alpaca fur for 36 years. His father, who also learned from his father, taught him to do what is now his passion and he has shown us to be an artist in alpaca fur.
ABOUT ME
Hello, I am Maria Beam, I studied Textile Engineering at the prestigious National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. Speaker at the XIII GLAL International Congress in Chile, representing Peru with a natural wool dye using a symbiosis called Lichen. Also speaker at the “Do It Yourself” workshop in Cusco, where I explained the importance of applying good shearing practices to preserve the quality of the fiber and its care.
After having worked for several years in textile factories in my country, I am currently dedicated to making Circle Textile a sustainable brand using natural fibers and educating people to know that by contributing to a sustainable textile industry we can take better care of the environment and safe the world.
The alpaca is one of the South American camelids that live mainly in the Andes of Peru.

The United Nations (UN), within the framework of the 174th Session of the Council of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), proclaimed 2024 as the International Year of Camelids, underlining their vital importance in the subsistence of millions of families in more than 90 countries.
